Marvel’s Jeremy Renner has just recently announced that he has finished filming his new Disney+ series Hawkeye.
(WARNING: The following content contains spoilers for those who are not caught up in the MCU.)
He is known for playing Clint Barton a.k.a. Hawkeye in the MCU. He made his first debut in Thor for a brief period of time. We got to see more of him in The Avengers when he became a member of the iconic team. Throughout his entire journey in the MCU, fans never got see him in his own movie. Now he gets his own show.
Renner recently posted on his Instagram story that he finished filming his show. He stated that it wasn’t goodbye for his character. His faced looked like he just got out of a serious battle with an enemy, which would make the story more interesting.
When we last left Hawkeye, he and all of the other Avengers defeated Thanos and saved the universe. Barton got his family back from ‘The Blip,’ he lost his best friend and now he has a new adventure ahead of him. In this new series, he has a young protégée named Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld). Kate Bishop is working her way to take the mantle of Hawkeye. With this new dynamic, the bad guys are in for some trouble.
Although filming has concluded, the release date has yet to be revealed. But the one thing that I do know is that Hawkeye is something to look forward to.
