Chloe Bennet Becomes A Powerpuff Girl

Actress Chloe Bennet is moving on to the city of Townsville. There is a live-action Powerpuff Girls series coming to the CW network and Bennet will be one of the heroes.

Chloe Bennet is well known for her role as Daisy Johnson a.k.a. Quake in the ABC series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Quake was an agent/superhero in the series and she had the audience (including me) entertained every second. She helped save the world dozens of times as Quake now we’ll see how she does as a Powerpuff Girl.

The Powerpuff Girls originated on Cartoon Network. They were kindergarteners who saves Townsville from crime and other major villains. Now people will get to see them in a more mature network.

In this new series, the Powerpuff Girls will not be kids. Instead they will be in their mid twenties and they resent loosing their childhood to crimefighting, according to Deadline. Bennet will portray Blossom Utonium, the brains and leader of the group. Deadline said:

“Although she was a spunky, conscientious, Little-Miss-Perfect child who holds several advanced degrees, Blossom’s repressed kiddie-superhero trauma has left her feeling anxious and reclusive, and she aims to become a leader again — this time on her own terms.

Bennet already proved she has what it takes to be a superhero. Her time as Quake proves that point. The details about the series including the story and the release date have yet to revealed. However, Dove Cameron will be playing Bubbles and Yana Perrault will portray Buttercup.

Now the question is….Can Chloe Bennet be a Powerpuff Girl? Both characters are strong, heroic, leaders and spunky. We’ll soon see how she does when the Powerpuff Girls arrives on the CW.
