The CW superhero series The Flash is about to have their seventh season premiere soon. And it has been leaving us with many unanswered questions, but the official trailer for the latest season gave me some input.

At the end of season 6, Iris (Candice Patton) was still trapped in the “Mirrorverse” by Eva McCulloch (Efrat Dor). Despite Barry’s (Grant Gustin) best efforts to stop her, Eva escaped the Mirrorverse and killed her husband. After that she took over his company and have everyone convinced that she was the victim.
The sixth season ended with Barry and the team planning a way to free Iris and the others from the Mirrorverse. It also ended with Iris vanishing in that place. Then COVID-19 happened so what happens next will be in season seven.
The trailer shows Barry finding a way to enter the Mirrorverse in order to save his wife. Iris appears to be trapped in her own mind in that place, which begs the question: when does she get out?
Eva is shown be more powerful than before. Plus, Barry is still losing his speed unless he can make another “Speed Force” in time. The suspense itself got me interested.
Caitlin Snow/Frost comes back for assistance. When we last left Frost she was leaving with her mother in order to get treatment for her hypothermic reaction to the battle with Sunshine. Now in the trailer it looks like she is ready for a fight once again.
This new trailer gave me chills and all of the questions that I have will soon be answered. Will Iris get out of the Mirrorverse? Will Barry get a new Speed Force? Will Eva be stopped? Will Elongated Man come back at some point? Only time will tell.
The seventh season of The Flash is set to premiere on March 2.
