Brace yourselves Marvel fans because Chris Evans is in talks to return as Steve Rogers a.k.a. Captain America in a future MCU movie.
Evans made his first appearance as the iconic hero in 2011 when Captain America: The First Avenger came to theaters. After that he became the leader of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in The Avengers. The success of those movies led to two more solo movies for Evans and he became a fan favorite.
When we last left Evans as Captain America, he saved the world from Thanos and he went back in time to put the infinity stones back. Once he finished that mission, he decided to settle down and marry Peggy Carter. Then the old Steve Rogers passed down his shield to Sam Wilson/Falcon.
According to Deadline, Evans became more open to the idea of picking up the shield again. Marvel had no comment on this, but he might come back even if it’s not a solo movie.
More details to come. However, having Chris Evans portray Captain America again would be exceptional.
