His days as Poe Dameron in the Star Wars has come to an end. Now he could be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). That’s right, Oscar Isaac is in talks for the role of Moon Knight.
Moon Knight is known as Marc Spector, an elite soldier and mercenary. According to Deadline, the character will have numerous alter egos such as Jake Lockley and millionaire playboy Steven Grant. Spector requires them in order to better fight the criminal underworld.
The soldier becomes the human avatar of Khonshu, the Egyptian god of the moon and he uses his abilities to fight crime.
Isaac is no stranger to the world of Marvel. He also portrayed Apocalypse in X-Men: Apocalypse. He played an evil all-powerful mutant. Now we will see him play a Marvel hero.
In addition to this project, Isaac has also signed up for Scenes of a Marriage, an HBO limited series that also stars Jessica Chastain. Isaac also has a few movies coming out in the future like Dune, Big Gold Brick and The Card Counter.
This Moon Knight project will be a Disney+ series. Although it’s currently in development, details about the show have yet to be revealed. Also, there is no production date right now.
Flacon and the Winter Solider, Wandavision, and Loki. Now we can add Moon Knight to that list of Disney+ series to look forward to. If anyone can pull off playing that Marvel hero it’s Oscar Isaac.
