Spider-Man 3 Will Have Blasts From The Past?!

Everyone knows that Spider-Man: Homecoming 3 is coming out in 2021. But, that movie isn’t the only thing that’s coming.

(WARNING: The following content contains spoilers for those who are not caught up with the Spider-Man films.)

First of all, we will see Tom Holland as the web-slinger again. After all, his story has to go on after that mid-credit scene where his secret identity was revealed. In addition to this journey, another blast from the past will be returning to the world of Spider-Man.

Recently Jamie Foxx had announced on his Instagram story that he would return to the world of Spider-Man as Electro. Foxx played this villain in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and the results did not end well with the critics. However, a deal was struck with Disney and Spider-Man has now become part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Aside from Holland and Foxx’s return, there have been many hopes and rumors spreading that other characters from the Spider-Man movies will make an appearance in Spider-Man: Homecoming 3. One of them is J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson.

Many fans remember this chief of the Daily Bugle. He was Peter Parker’s boss and he always disliked Spider-Man. Jameson always called Spider-Man a “menace” and now the question is: Will he be back to continue his work? After his cameo appearance in Spider-Man: Far From Home it would be very likely.

Other people would say that the other Spider-Men would appear in the third film. Holland could be joined by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Basically it would be a “Into the Spider-verse” situation. It would be entertaining, but would it be a possibility? Would we see Maguire and Garfield back in their spider-suits?

Not all the details about Spider-Man: Homecoming 3 have been revealed yet. Only time will tell if we see any other iconic faces from the past. But, now we have an old villain coming back and new possibilities that can make another box-office hit for the MCU.
