It follows Mando (Pedro Pascal) the bounty hunter and skilled warrior who was rescued by the Mandalorians at a young age. Along his journey he meets Baby Yoda a.k.a. “The Child.” Once found, he starts to care for The Child and keeps him safe.
After finishing the battle in the season one finale, Mando decides to take care of baby Yoda and they both take off into space. Once the season came to a close, we all had questions for the second season. Even though not all of the details have been revealed here is what is known so far.
According to Entertainment Weekly, some characters a returning to the series and there will be new adventures. Pascal spoke about how the second season will explore his relationship with baby Yoda. He said:
“We start very directly after the first [season] and he’s going into very dangerous territory.” “He is very much a passenger to the experience in unexpected ways — not knowing what’s to come, not knowing how much or how best to protect the Child. We don’t know how far he will go to do that, and they’re finding new ways to push the envelope.”
The following characters are also coming back to the show: Cara Dune (Gina Corano), Greef Karga (Carl Weathers) and Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito). They all provided memorable battles in the series and more fights will come with these guys around. In addition, Moff has the Darksaber at his disposal. The plot thickens!
