Review: Rascal Flatts’ ‘How They Remember You’

Rascal Flatts, one of the most successful country music groups has just released their new EP How They Remember You. And the results did them justice.

This country band has been in the music business for 21 years. They have earned platinum albums, performed in front of packed venues and have won numerous awards. However, this serves as their last collection to the fans.

According to MEA Worldwide, the band made an announcement in January that they’re retiring from the business. In addition, they would be holding a farewell tour later in the year. However, that tour was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their farewell EP starts off with their self-entitled song, “How They Remember You.” The band’s leading track is about how to treat people and make the most of your time in your life. That message and the melody caught my attention.

Next, there was “Quick, Fast, In A Hurry” featuring Rachel Wammack. This romantic song had me captivated with both the vocals and the lyrics. Both Wammack and Gary LeVox’s voices made the song pleasant to the ears.

The other track that had me engaged was “Warmer.” This one is a heartbreaking plea to a loved on and they try to get closer, but they feel that the relationship is getting harder and harder. The music along with the message, had me interested.

Lastly, there is the cover of “Through The Years” by Kenny Rogers. The band has made a tribute to the artist by adding this track to their EP. This romantic ballad in their sound did not disappoint me.

Rascal Flatts have made a memorable goodbye for the fans and the world. Basically, it’s an EP worth listening to.
