The Flash movie updates!

Warner Bros. has announced that The Flash will have his own solo movie. Now they have a release date, a director and a storyline.

Although a movie has been mentioned in the past, the details including the release date have been constantly changing. The studio couldn’t find a director and they did not have a full cast.

The Flash, played by Ezra Miller has become a fan favorite since his first appearance in Justice League. Miller has received praise for his portrayal as the scarlet speedster. In addition, he also made a cameo appearance on the television screen.

On Jan. 14, Miller appeared on the CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. The TV Flash (Grant Gustin) met the movie Flash (Miller) in the speed force while looking for his super friends. After that unexpected encounter all I could say was, “MIND BLOWN.”

The story of the movie has already been made. It will be a Flashpoint storyline. Barry will go back in time to stop his mother’s death. However doing so will cause a shift in the timeline and everything in his life will change, according to CinemaBlend.

In his new life, the Justice don’t exist, Bruce Wayne is dead and a war has been made between Wonder Woman and Aquaman. Now the Flash has to deal with this new reality.

The director of the film will be Andy Muschietti. Muschietti had previously worked with Warner Bros. in the past with projects such as IT and IT: Chapter 2.

Two cast members have been confirmed for the project. Kiersey Clemons will portray Iris West, the main love interest of Barry. Billy Crudup will return as Henry Allen, Barry’s father who was imprisoned for the death of his wife.

Filming has not yet begun and there are no trailers yet. Even though the movie is currently in the works, the details that were released so far will be enough for the time being.

The Flash is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 1, 2022.
