Ryan Reynolds is returning as Deadpool!

In the past decade, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has brought pleasure to moviegoers. Now there’s a new addition to the MCU and his name is Deadpool.

(WARNING: The following content may contain spoilers for those who have not seen the previous Deadpool films.)

Canadian-American actor Ryan Reynolds had just recently announced on Live With Kelly and Ryan that there will be a Deadpool 3 in the future. The movie is currently in the works and he will be returning as the wisecracking mercenary.

“Yeah we’re working on it right now with the whole team,” Reynolds said to Kelly and Ryan. “We’re over at Marvel [Studios] now, which is like the big leagues all of a sudden. It’s kinda crazy. So yeah, we’re working on it.”

The Deadpool franchise is owned by Fox, but Disney has bought the company and fans worry that it will mean drastic changes to the movie. However, Reynolds announced that the film will be made in Marvel Studios. In addition, the movie will be R-rated.

This deadly mercenary is known for his skillful use of blades and his colorful vocabulary. Although people were skeptical at first for letting this character in the MCU, eventually everyone became on board with the project.

Deadpool and Deadpool 2 have made success at the box office. Those two films became the highest grossing R-rated movies in box office history. Knowing that information, Disney could not ignore this opportunity, according to comicbook.com.

Wade Wilson/Deadpool has taken on powerful villains and numerous criminals. While all that action and drama happens, Deadpool still manages to make laugh. Now people (including me) will have many questions before the movie is released.

Will Deadpool work with the other Marvel heroes? Will we see more familiar faces from his past? What villain will he face in the third installment? Will the third movie live up to the hype?

Before Reynolds puts on his superhero suit, he has other projects coming up in 2020. Some of which include The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, Free Guy and The Croods 2.

Although no official date has been released for Deadpool 3, people can now look forward to another Ryan Reynolds film filled with action and humor.
