The highly anticipated movie Avengers: Endgame has arrived in theaters everywhere and it was worth the year-long wait.
Anthony and Joe Russo’s latest project takes place three weeks after the events of their previous movie Avengers: Infinity War. The heroes that survived Thanos’ (Josh Brolin) snap have been dealing with the aftermath of iconic battle.
The remaining Avengers who survived are joined by Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd). Together they plan to undo Thanos’ doing and bring back everyone that vanished.
This sequel had some alluring qualities and one of them was the actor’s performances. One example was Jeremy Renner.
During the aftermath of the previous movie, I could see Hawkeye’s pain and anger all throughout film. After watching him channel his pain through his fight scenes, I was immediately engaged.
Another star that stood out was Thor (Chris Hemsworth). The Australian actor gave us a memorable performance by giving us a mix of torment and humor. After battling Thanos in the previous movie, I got to see a different side of Thor and the results did not disappoint.
What also caught my attention was the storyline. It’s a group of survivors that go to one last battle against an intergalactic tyrant. Marvel has created many entertaining plots, but this one had me captivated.
Lastly, there was the aesthetics of the movie. For instance, the costume design of Thanos. The armor and weapons that he carried reflected his character well.
Bottom line, Avengers: Endgame is a movie you don’t want to miss.

David, I fully agree and add that watching Cap wield Mjölnir was worth the wait. Thor’s claim of ‘I knew it’ and seeing him use it and his iconic shield together were a highlight of the movie. The best scene though has to be when Cap is beaten down and appears to be the only Avenger left against Thanos and his full army and he stands up and pulls the strap on his broken shield only to hear ‘On your left’. Awesome!!!!!!
