Game of Thrones gets a new attraction

The widely popular HBO series Game of Thrones is coming back with its final season on April 14. However, that is not the only thing to look forward to from the show.

People watch the famous HBO series and fangirl over it. Some of which, would love to visit the land of Westeros. Now people will get that chance because HBO is creating a tourist attraction in Northern Ireland.

This tour will be stationed at Linen Mill Studios in Banbridge. This tour will consist of props and sets from the Game of Thrones universe. People will get to see the attire worn by all of the stars from the series.

This upcoming studio tour was inspired by the Warner Bros. Harry Potter studio tour outside of London, according to the New York Times.

The possibilities for the sets include King’s Landing, Winterfell, Castle Black and the Wall. Once people enter these sets, they can recall the places where iconic moments from the show happened. In addition, tourists won’t have to worry about being attacked by White Walkers.

There hasn’t been any plans made for a studio tour in the U.S., but Jeff Peters, HBO’s vice president of licensing and retail is open to numerous opportunities.

No official date has been made for the opening of the Game of Thrones studio tour, but the one thing that we do know is that the tour launches in spring 2020.
