My name is David, graduate from Stony Brook University and freelance writer. The journey began with the summer of 2008. I was lost at that time. After graduating high school I had no plan, no where to go and wasn’t sure what my passion was. To find out what it was, I started taking classes at Suffolk County Community College (SCCC).
During my time at SCCC, I started to enjoy writing essays for my class. I then began to look at the school’s newspaper, Compass. After writing an article about an iPhone update and getting a taste of the journalism experience, I realized that I liked being a writer. Once I transferred to Stony Brook and gotten published further, being a writer became my calling.
Writing allows me to express my creativity and pop culture is my weapon of choice. Whenever I get upset about what happens in the world, I always look into my favorite artists, books, movies and so on in order to look on the positive side of things. I find that writing about entertainment gives me a chance for people to see my creativity and humorous side.
For those who wish to escape from the news about politicians and dangers to the environment, come check out my blog and we’ll see where it takes us. Thank you and enjoy!
